Brief Description: Sanding the filler around canopy skirt edges
The task today was to sand the fiberglass filler to get the desired curve and contour on the skirt edges. I also added a first layer of filler to the aft end of the skirt where there is a "channel" to slide over the canopy rail. I made the channel by bending some light aluminum to conform to the rail and epoxied it into place in the skirt. Then I added filler to be sanded once cured.
The skirt is slowly beginning to look better. It is a slow process when you don't have any composite skills.
