Brief Description: Adjusting the wing tips to align with ailerons
The wing tips did not align perfectly with the trailing edge of the ailerons so I am attempting to adjust the fiberglass tips to align. My idea was to split the training edge of the fiberglass tips and push/pull the upper and lower edges of the tips in order to reform the curve. Initially, I split the trailing edges about 6 inches and tested the idea. I found the tips can be made to align but it looks like I will have to split most of the trailing edge, perhaps all of it, to ensure the finished trailing edge is relatively straight along its length from the aileron to the outboard tip.
I will come back to this issue once the wings are attached and ailerons are installed for the last time.
