I installed the heater cuff this morning. As usual, it took longer than anticipated and required some extra adjustments to get it correct. I began by removing the number 3 exhaust pipe. This meant removing the nuts and washers at the cylinder head, the slip joiint bolt, and the upper screw on the vertical exhaust support.
The heater muff was installed per instructions but I found the heater will not tighten down around the exhaust pipe. I followed the corrective procedure listed in the instructions and it's better but still doesn't suit me. I may have to remove the cuff and make some further adjustments.
Anyway, I can continue at this point to test fit the various hoses and components.
