Picked up my Lycoming engine from the builder today and brought home to the workshop. Stopped by my local auto service company and picked up an old tire to set the engine on. Can't wait to hang it on the airframe and start installing all the firewall forward components.
All the open ports have been sealed since this photo was taken. The engine was fogged internally with a preservative.
