I ordered a neat little canopy stop from Mike Zeller. This stop will keep the canopy from sliding all the way to the rear. This will be essential when flying with no passenger in the rear seat. With the canopy all the way rearward the pilot cannot reach it to close when ready to takeoff. I am considering purchasing a second stop to mount about six inches aft of the canopy bow. This would allow the canopy to be held slightly open in hot weather while taxiing.
