Brief Description:  Wiring labeling and clean-up

I was not happy at all with wire labels created with a Brothers label printer. While the printing was neat, the little "flags" sticking up all over the wiring bundles was not. It finally occurred to me that even with the connectors attached I could slip a short piece of 1/4" heat shrink onto the wire. So, I found some 1/4" white heat shrink at a local vendor and began relabeling all my wires.

I began by cutting a bunch of the heat shrink into 5/8" pieces and labeling each with an ultr fine Sharpie marker. I used four colors including red for power, green for ground, blue for dimmer leads, and black for miscellaneous. This allowed me to use the same abbreviations on related wires. For example, my Garmin 250XL power wire is labeled "G250" and is marked in red while its ground wire is marked "G250" but is lettered in green. I chose to use blue for all the instrument dimmer leads and black for everything else.

Overall, I think the wiring looks much better using this technique.
