I installed the flap actuator with its wiring so the unit could be removed without cutting any wires. You can see in the pictures that I used standard Molex connectors on some of the wires and Molex pins and sockets (without their shells) on other wires. The wires without the nylon shells come from under the floor, pass thru a snap bushing, and then plug into power, ground, extract, and retract leads. I omitted the nylon shells so the wires can be easily inserted and/or extracted thru the snap bushing.
When the flap parts are installed permanently I may add a small piece of heat shrink around the joint between the pins and sockets to enhance security.
