Brief Description:  Miscellaneous wiring

Did considerable studying today but was able to get much of the miscellaneous wiring routed and cut to rough lengths. These pictures represent only a portion of the total wiring in the bird. The wiring shown is for headset phones, mics, ANR power (aircraft), auxiliary audio input, and cockpit lighting for front and rear. There will be a switch in the rear for the copilot map lights and another on the aux instrument panel for the pilot. Auxiliary audio input to the intercom will be selected front or back by a pilot activated toggle switch.

The space just below the support between the front and rear cockpits will contain most of the jacks and swicthes for these miscellaneous functions. It is also where one of the two map lights is mounted (see the rear lightening hole). I have fabricated a panel that will cover this area once all the wiring connections are completed.

Once I am sure of the wiring and the routing, the bundles will be secured with cable ties and strategically placed Adel support clamps. Of course, I still have to fabricate and route all the basic wiring such as nav lights, landing lights, strobes, boost pump, ignition system, instruments, etc. I expect this will take some time given my inexperience and lack of a comprehensive schematic.
