Brief Description: 3M 77 Cement used on floor protectors
Just a follow-up note on the vinyl floor scuff protectors I glued on earlier with the 3M 77 contact cement. In my earlier testing the cement seemed to make a reasonable bond. However, after sitting in the very hot garage for a few days the bond seems to have deteriorated a little. I expected the bond to strengthen with time but the heat may have actually weakened the cement. The 3M 80 used in the forward cockpit seems to be holding better but only time will tell. I still may have to revert to wing-walk material on the floors.
