Brief Description:  Installed aft most rail fasteners

The aft most screw that attaches the canopy rails is a little more difficult than the forward fasteners. First, the flange above the screw must be drilled so a screwdriver can be inserted. As you can see in the photo the head of the screw is a little larger than those on the forward fasteners. The instructions suggest cutting a small area out of the "lip" so the screw can seat properly. I chose to grind a flat spot on one side of the screw so it would both seat and lock in place. Even without a screwdriver inserted the screw locks up against the lip so the nut can be tightened.

On the starboard rail I thought it might be necesary to grind down the circumference on a socket in order to get it on the nut (the nut with washer is back under a flange and in the extreme aft corner). Thankfully, it wasn't necessary.
