Brief Description:  Aft upper fuselage skin & structure

Made good progress in the shop today. The bulkhead upper halves were clecoed and match drilled in preparation for rivets. Nutplates were installed to attach the back panel in the baggage compartment. The shoulder harness fairleads were match drilled, deburred, countersunk, and riveted to the aft side of the F-807B-1 bulkhead. The shoulder harness anchors were filed to fit flush against the top skin and the flange of the F-808 bulkhead assembly. The anchors were machine countersunk for number 4 rivets. The canopy rail receptacle was fitted, match drilled, deburred, and dimpled appropriately.

Finally, the top skin was 100% clecoed to the bulkheads and upper longerons. I was a little concerned early in this procedure about rivet hole alignment at the upper longerons. Need not have worried, as I progressed from the center of the bulkheads outward and down with the clecos pulled the skin down snug and everything lined up. Once riveted, I think it will look nice.
