Brief Description:  Repaired fuel pump bracket - part 1

I acquired a rebuilt Airborne fuel boost pump for my fuel injection system. The pump is in good shape and has been tested and set at 27 psi. This particular pump is TSO'd and rated for continuous operation.

While the pump is in good shape, the mounting bracket didn't look so good. It has obviously been installed in multiple aircraft and with each installation the bracket got drilled and redrilled leaving it in poor condition (probably serviceable but looks awful). The rivets in the bracket also leave much to be desired. You can see in the images below the condition of the bracket and bad riveting. Also note the bolt holes (could be more evenly spaced).

I wouldn't want anyone to see this and think it's my work so I decided to repair and clean it up. I began by drilling out the rivets and taking the bracket apart.
