Brief Description:  Finished rivets on aft end of tailcone

I was unable to reach the rivets in the extreme aft end of the tailcone when the fuselage was inverted on the jig. Once it was flipped the final rivets were relatively easy though the ones along the lower longerons had to be bucked blind and checked with a hand mirror and flashlight. Most of them were bucked with the little tungsten bars but a couple were more suited to a little steel bar purchased early in the build project.

I invariably scratch the primer a little from time to time when bucking. Usually it occurs in the bend of the longeron angles. There is no easy way to touch up the primer with spray in the extreme aft end of the fuselage so I may get a little can of primer and use a small brush just to cover any blemishes where the aluminum shows. This is probably a non issue but I will feel better if any raw aluminum scratches are protected.
