Today Connie and I set the universal head rivets on each mid-cabin side skin (section just behind and around the spar box). We also finished the flush riveting on the right landing gear weldment and the remainder of the tailcone rivets back to within about two feet of the most aft bulkhead. The final rivets in this area will be easier to reach once the canoe is flipped upright.
The last task to complete before flipping the fuselage will be to set the flush rivets in the left landing gear weldment. Frankly, getting my hand and a bucking bar into that tight space is a real pain (literally).
