I just got another cool tool for the aeroplane factory and home workshop. I have been wanting one of these for a long time. I saw the original Fein Multi-Tool, a German product, a couple years ago on a TV commercial but the price was quite high. Apparently, the patent has expired because in the last year it seems many of the tool manufacturers have created a version of this tool.
One of my boys sent me this Harbor Freight variable speed multi-tool for Christmas. I have looked at a number of these tools from different companies and think the Harbor Freight version is a good value, especially when you catch it on sale and/or have a coupon. I have read a number of reviews that agree with my assessment.
I have also read the comments of aircraft builders in various forums that have used this tool for both fiberglass and plexiglass work with good results. I think it will be a good addition to the workshop.
