Brief Description:  Continue disassembly of fuselage

The two rows of #30 holes in the forward floor panels that are common with the fore and aft bottom flanges of the center section were machine countersunk to accept dimples. These countersunk holes will accept the dimpled holes in the foreward end of the left and right center bottom skins.

The forward side skins were removed and all the underlying components were then reclecoed. The F-883-1 fuel valve bracket was clamped in position, marked, and drilled to #19. All unriveted parts in place on the forward fuselage structure were unbolted or unclecoed.

Finally, I completed the baggage/instrument panel access plate mod by riveting the doubler and nutplates to the back side of the baggage panel. The access cover was temporarily fastened with four #8 pan head screws.
