The two center section subassemblies were put together with the spar spacers. Care was taken to lightly tighten the bolts to avoid compression of the spar spacers. The appropriate holes in the top plate were match drilled and countersunk, then the assembly was taken apart for deburring.
Nutplates were installed and the center section was reassembled and riveted together. The seat belt attach lugs and the forward control mount were installed per the manual. Snap bushings for future wire routing were also installed.
