Brief Description:  Finished riveting seat rib subassembly

Connie's schedule finally matched mine this evening so we finished riveting the seat rib subassembly. Earlier in the day I drove all the rivets that could be reached but my arms just weren't long enough to get more than about a third of the total. With Connie using the gun and me on the bucking bar we made quick work of the remaining rivets. Once the ribs were attached to the skins, Connie bucked the final four universal head rivets that attach the trim bracket to the inboard forward rib. I had already squeezed the other bracket rivets before clecoing the rib to the skin.

Before quitting for the evening, I test fitted the two lower longerons to the forward fuselage to see just how much bending is going to be necessary. The longerons actually fit fairly well but I can see why the slight twists are necessary both forward and aft of the factory bend. The bends called out in the plans are just enough to make the angle mate with the other components without any undue stress on the longeron or components.
