Brief Description:  Riveting the weldment on the right gear box

I was able to get a few hours in the shop this evening. The first task was to insert all the bolts in the fore and aft angles at the bottom of each landing gear box. All the bolts went in easy except for one on each box. The 822 weldment was really close to two of the bolts on the inside making it difficult to insert the lock nuts. After relieving the flat washers slightly on a grinder I was able to get the nuts started and they snugged down fine.

The boxes were then clecoed to the forward floor assembly and all the rivets attaching the 822 weldment and the fore and aft landing gear bulkheads on the right box were set. I was able to squeeze a few but at least half were driven with a gun and bucking bar. The weldment riveting on the right box is complete and turned out pretty good.
