Brief Description: More work on landing gear boxes
It was back to the landing gear boxes in the shop today. I began by dismantling both boxes and deburring all the holes. After priming the fore and aft heavy angles that attach at the bottom of the boxes, I riveted the assemblies together per the shop instructions. All the nutplates were also installed. Finally, the weldments were temporarily bolted in place and the final holes match drilled. After deburring the final holes in the weldments, they were bolted in place. Bolts were snugged down but not torqued to final setting.
