Brief Description: Complete forward fuselage floor & cooling air ramp
I finished the deburring this morning and riveted the foward fuselage assembly together. I had to deepen the countersinks a bit to get the crossmembers to sit down tight against the skin when riveted. I riveted the parts to the floor skin where indicated in the plans. The crossmembers have not yet been riveted to the intercostal and floor ribs. The plans were not clear on this point and the parts can be riveted together later.
The cooling air ramp was clecoed together, match drilled, and disassembled for deburring. Once deburred and dimpled appropriately, the parts were riveted together. I didn't dimple any of the 1/8" holes near the rolled edge yet. Again, the shop instructions were not clear on this point and it can be accomplished later during final assembly.
