Brief Description: Aileron brackets, gap seal, and flap brace
The first task this morning was to install the aileron brackets. Next, the flap brace and aileron gap seal were prepared for installation. This required a little trimming, smoothing of edges, and deburring and dimpling where required. Finally, the flap brace and gap seal were riveted in place.
When riveting the flap brace, I used some plastic rivet set caps acquired on my last order to the The Yard. These caps help protect against "smiley faces" when setting universal type rivets. They work very well.
