Brief Description:  Sealed and inserted tank end ribs

Today I sealed and inserted the tank end ribs. The ribs were clecoed in every hole but before setting the assembly aside to cure, I put a fillet of sealant on the inside of both end ribs. To accomplsih this I mixed up some sealant and thinned it enough to apply using a syringe. Even with some thinning it takes some hand strength to push the proseal through the syringe and tip. By the way, the tip is made from some scrap copper tubing and just allows me to apply the sealant along the rib like caulking a window or wood trim. Once the sealant bead is in place I use a popsicle stick with the rounded tip to run along the bead creating a nice fillet. I will probably use the same technique on the five internal ribs before installing the rear baffle to close the tank.
