Brief Description:  Sealed end ribs & began riveting tank ribs

I began the shop session by sealing and assembling the two end ribs for the starboard tank. The task isn't too demanding but a little tedious and, of course, messy (proseal). Once the end ribs were completed they were set aside to cure.

The next task was to begin riveting the internal five tank ribs. The ribs had been coated with sealant and 100% clecoed in place a couple days ago. The procedure is to remove every other cleco, dress the dimple lightly with the deburring bit, ensure the dimple is clean (remove any excess sealant), put a dab of proseal in the hole, insert a rivet, and drive. After completing a line of rivets, I clean off the excess proseal and inspect the rivet heads. I prefer this method of building the tanks rather than driving the rivets immediately after inserting the ribs. It seems to keep the mess to a minimum and produces a good result.
