Craig Gural is the person who constructed these wings and tanks so I had to do some investigating to see what he did. I found that the fuel sender was located between the tank and the spar, inside the second rib bay. I could not see it until I removed the tank. Since these tanks have flop tubes, the sending unit would interfere with the action of the sending unit so the unit has to be moved. I ohmed the sending unit and empty it reads 30 and full reads 250.
Now that I know where the sending unit is I ran the wire for it through a current hole in the spar with a gromet and RTV to hold it in place. I also soldered the ring terminal to increase strenth and longevity.. noone wants to remove a tank becuase of a broken wire.
