Fairly Straight Forwawrd on how this goes together.
Start out by cutting the stock rod to length. I cut it with the band saw with a hose clamp around it to give the blade a guide path perpendicular to the pipe.
The rod end gets 8 steel rivets evenly spaced. Vans has a nice method of a small strip of paper folded up to make the marks on the pipe for drilling the holes.
Once the holes were drilled, the pipe had to be deburred and cleaned by driving a cloth with solvent on it through the pipe.
