Brief Description: Construction & fitting Right Elevator
The construction of the right elevator was straight forward. It is per plans accept for I decided to add a balance arm just like the later RV's have. The weight will be attached to a sliding mechanism that will allow for perfect balancing of each elevator after installation to the aircraft and prior to linking them together. Chances are that this aircraft design will be slightly below the speed range where flutter becomes an issue. I still don't want to ignore it. It only takes a few minutes to save a life sometimes, this could be one of those times.
