Started fitting canopy frame by drilling the sking to the frame. Then I put it on the fuselage for the first of I'm sure many times. I couldn't get the 1/32" between the canopy skin and the forward skin and finally figured out that the C-619 spacers were interfering with the hinge arms. I wouldn't have looked here, but I spent quite a bit of time on the net last evening looking at Dan Checkoway's site and he had found the same thing. I removed the spacers and used the mill to create some clearance between the two parts.
