I found some aluminum bar stock yesterday and decided to make my own static ports. Take a look at the pictures and see what you think. The objective was to make the part that protrudes from the skin to be just like the head of the pop rivet that Van's uses. Then on the inside, to connect to the Safeair1 quickconnect hose. I believe I've succeeded.
The flat on the side is to allow it to be in the exact position that Van's suggests. It won't interfere with the bulkhead with the flat side. And though you can't see it, the inside has internal threads for 1/8" pipe thread.
