Brief Description:  More Seats

Today I finished both seat backs and the braces. I didn't have a 2-1/2" hole saw to cut the lightening holes so I used a 2". I guess a couple of ounces won't hurt anything. I took a little break in the afternoon to visit Carey Mills in Enterprise. The last time I saw him he was waiting on his DAR inspection. When I got there today he told me he had 15 hours on his new 7 already. It looks really good. I took Reva with me to show her the panel and interior. He has dual Dynon's like I'm planning and also the Classic Aero interior. His is charcoal and we're planning on a tan. Reva thought the charcoal was too dark for her. I like it, but it does make the interior look a little small. Anyway, I looked at some things I had questions about to see how he had done his. When we returned, I cleaned up the shop a little so I could do some riveting tomorrow. I have to go back to work for a couple of hours in the morning, but I'm supposed to be off until the 7th. I've made some really good progress so far over the holidays. I spoke to Buck Williams, CFI, here in Geneva and I think he's going to check me out in his 150 later this week so I can fly a little. I really miss my Cherokee.
