This evening I started by removing the left side skin and bending the conical bend at the aft end of the skin. It took several tries to get it to suit me but it clecoed up nicely. I got it clecoed back on and did the same to the right side skin. I got all the clecoes back in the skins and clamped the longeron down the length of the fuselage to ensure that it was even with the top of the skins in preparation to drill it. In reading ahead, I'm going to have to cut a little bit (1/4") off of both longerons as they are closer than 3/4" to the end of the side skins. My daughter Sandy is going to be here Saturday evening so we can celebrate Jim's 30th birthday. Probably won't get too much done next week, though I plan to do the drilling of the longerons at least.
