Brief Description:  Catching up again!

It seems as that when I can only spend a few minutes or an hour in the shop that it's not hardly worth sitting down and updating my kit log. However, a few of these sessions and you still get quite a bit done. That and some of my friends and family have been giving me quite a hard time about not updating it so here goes.

I'm really writing this on July 4th, after working in the shop most of the afternoon. I did a little cleaning up as I have a new bandsaw coming on Friday and had to make room. Anyway, since my last post, I have finished riveting the firewall and the F-705 bulkhead. Also I have finished priming and riveting the aft fuselage bulkheads. I'm still working on the last two, F-711 and 712. I'm not having much success fitting them to the tail cone skin--- yet. I will succeed though.

I've also bent one of the longerons to it's shape. It wasn't as hard as I thought but when I bend the next one, I'll get Reva to come out and help me. At 15' long they are a little hard to handle.

One more thing that I've decided is to leave the bottom skins on the wings loose for a little longer. After reading some posts on the net, I've made that decision. There seems to be no hurry to close them up as I may decide on something else to go in one of them. I can't for the life of me think what it might be, but for now, at least, they are staying clecoed.
