Brief Description:  F-904 Bulkheads

Today I started out by taking some pictures of the firewall and decided that I needed to do a little research. I know I"m going with a carbuerated engine and a fixed pitch prop so I'm thinking that I might as well put the associated holes in the firewall for those control cables along with the inlet for the cabin heat. I'll put a note on VAF tomorrow and see what the collective wisdom is there. Then I started on the bulkheads and match drilled everything and riveted the F-904 C and D to the appropriate bulkheads. I then fabbed all the support ribs and got them ready for priming. I then worked on the F-633 mounts for the control column and decided that I may as well save some weight and used the suggestions from the drawings to mark them out for cutting. I first drilled a 1/2" hole so the cuts would have the required 1/4" Radius where I cut.

We got alot of wind last nite and today. The backyard is a mess. We're going to Sun'N'Fun on Thursday so I suspect I won't get to work anymore this week. I'll try to get the yard cleaned up before we go.
