I ran the wires for the headset and mic jacks to the brace behind the cabin frame today. After alot of looking on the web, I decided to put the jacks in that location. I don't like cords dangling at my feet in the Cherokee I had and the 172 that I'm flying now. I hope it's the correct decision as it was alot more work than putiing them in the panel.
I also sent some drawings to Jerry Thorne to look at over the Holiday's. He built a very nice 9A and visited me when I first started. I sent him an email after seeing a post on VAF from him and he called me and we talked quite a while. He said he may visit again.
