Brief Description:  Riveting Left Flap

This evening we riveted the top skin on the left flap. All rivet were installed except the verylast rivet in the FL905 Ribs. I can't see a good way to buck it and my "no hole" yoke won't reach any but the outboard one. I'll put a question on the web site and ask.Along those same lines, Larry Westbrook and Vince Potts came here today in Larry's 9A. He graciously gave me a motivational ride and let me fly a little while. I brought them both to the shop and showed them my progress. We discussed alot of things about the 9A's and Vince's 7A. We spent about 2 hours just looking over my wings and empannage and they both told me it looked very good. That makes me feel pretty good because both of these guys have nice airplanes. When I took them back to the airport, I looked over Larry's 9A, which is one of the first 12 or so customer built ones. I noticed that he had used the same pop rivet in the position I'm having trouble with, that's used on the inboard nose ribs in the flaps. We'll see what the web comes up with before I do that. It was GREAT to get a ride. I really needed that to get me pumped again.
