After looking at lots of websites, it seems that the nose skins on the flaps are just plain hard to get lined up. When Reva came home from work she helped me and that was all it took. We had the best luck with her putting in clecos and me "rolling" the nose skin back toward the spar starting in the middle and working toward both ends. Once we figured out a method it was pretty simple. I then match drilled the nose skin to spar to top and bottom skins while Reva moved the clecos. Before we finished for the evening, we drilled and clecoed the trailing edge wedge so that now the left flap is ready for disassembly, deburring and priming.
