Today I riveted the right leading edge with the exception of the inboard end rib. I want to wait till I put the tank back on to see if it will need shimming to make the skins match. There seemed to be some mismatch when I initially fitted them. I had two visitors today. First, Tim Pethol who's building an 8A came by to visit. We talked for quit awhile and I gave him my long offset back rivet set and the round bucking bar he had loaned me. I had better luck riveting the skins with Reva bucking and me shooting them with the mushroom set. Then later in the day, Sidney Smith and his son who happens to be an A&P came by. Sidney just recieved his emmpanage kit for an "8". We talked about tools quite a bit as he hasn't accumulated nearly all he needs yet. I gave him a few things that I think he can use and told him if he needed any help to let me know.
