Brief Description:  Tank and Wing Work

I didn't get started until about 10 this AM due to other obligations. I began by prosealing and riveting the rivets in the top skin to rib joint on the right tank. After a break for lunch, Reva came out and she put the ribbed conduit into the holes I had drilled in the ribs in the left wing. She has more patience than me and the holes were barely big enough, causing much wiggling around to get it in properly. It certainly won't need to be held anywhere except around the bellcrank as it's fairly tight in the holes. I readied all the little attach brackets and hole covers for the right tank and mixed up proseal and set the rivets in them, then I finished making a nice fillet on all the ribs where they meet the skin. When I initially riveted the top skin to rib joints, I had enough proseal left to do about 1/3 of the fillets. Today it is done and now all that's left on the tank is the vent line and fuel sender, then I can rivet the baffle. After I cleaned up from that task, we finished riveting the last 50 or so rivets along the rear spar attaching the top skin. The top skin on the left wing is now cleco free. Before quiting for the day, Reva helped me cleco up the right leading edge in preperation for riveting tomorrow.
