Brief Description:  Sealing the rear baffle.

Today is the day and we got it finished. I roughed up all the adjoining surfaces and mixed up 35 cc of the black goo and started. Reading the directions indicates that the line of Proseal goes just forward of the holes in the skin and I did my best to keep it just below them. I figured out shortly that 35 cc wasn't nearly enough and mixed up some more. Anyway, I got the baffle down on the ribs and Reva and I put all the clecos in, making sure of alignment. We also clecoed the ribs to the baffle and then started removing a cleco and putting in a rivet. We went down both sides doing every other rivet then came back and removed the others, one at a time, and riveted them. Then on to the "Z" brackets. I had marked on the baffle the orientation of them and really didn't have too much trouble. Anyway, about 3-1/2 hours including cleanup and we declared victory. Of course we won't know for sure for a few days but looking in the access plate, the bead of proseal looks pretty good as far as I can see. Hopefully it will be alright. I was pretty tired of Proseal so I worked on riveting the skin on the leading edge. I'm leaving the rivets out of the inboard rib until I can set it back on the spar with the tank and make sure the two skins line up flush. It seems several have had to shim out the leading edge skin a little to make it line up with the tank.
