I match drilled and deburred all the main ribs for the right wing front spar joint and drill some trial holes in some scrap material. Reva came out and I showed her how to "buck" rivets . She did really good on the trial so we started on the rib to spar joints. She really did good. It's hard to hear her tell me to stop shooting, but I finally just watched her instead of the revet set and we did them all. They all turned out really well except for one, which tipped a little. I really think that where they call out AN470 4-5 rivets on the outboard ribs, the rivet is too long. They really want to tip over. I put -4's in several with really acceptable results. I'll point them out to Russell Sharpe, my Tech Advisor, next week when he comes and see what he says. From all I've read, I know they aren't a problem.
