Tonite the goal was to get the left wing on the wing stand. I spent about 45 minutes mounting the aluminum stands to the floor and making a 5" piece of angle to hold the outboard end of the wing.Jim came over and helped me set it in the stand and clamp/bolt it solidly. Then we stretched a piece of fishing line accross the bottom set of holes in the front spar and raised the middle accordingly. It really looks good. I have to get a couple of plumb bobs tomorrow and see where it's at for twist. I'm trying to figure out a way to clamp the rear spar and not be in the way of the skins.I moved the right wing on the big table and cleocoed main ribs into it. As you can see in the third photo, I laid the plans out on the table this time and didn't have to move any around when I got done. I have to drill out some more holes for pitot lines and match drill the front holes before I can go any further.I probably won't get to work on it again till the weekend.
