Brief Description:  Spars and de-burring wing ribs

I spent most of today not working on the plane. I got my bi-annual in the Cherokee this morning, which didn't take too long. I went back to the airport and got the plane and flew to Enterprise. A friend of mine is going to give me a key to his hanger there and let me fly his 172 since my partner in the Cherokee wants to buy me out. He's moved to Cullman and a partnership won't work very well that way. It's probably for the best as the sale will free up some money to put into this project.Anyway, I hadn't flown a 172 since the mid 80's and we flew for about 1.5 hours going over slow flight, stalls, emergency procedures and landings, so I was comfortable in it again. I had forgotten how nice it is to still be able to see the runway when turning from downwind to base. I suppose I'll get used to the high wing again, but I'm going to miss my Cherokee. When I returned home, I finished countersinking the holes for the nut plates on the right spar so tomorrow I can prime both and rivet on the nut plates. Reva came out and started deburring the rear wing ribs. That will be a HUGE help. There's alot of deburring to be done as there are alot of ribs.
