Brief Description:  Wings Officially Started

I spent about 2 hours cleaning up the shop and putting the HS and Elev. on a shelf for safe keeping until I need them again. It will be a while I'm afraid. Anyway, I unpacked the spars and properly marked them for orientation and proceeded to start counter sinking the holes for the nut plates. It didn't take very long to realize that my cs bits are dull and I really should have bought a non marring micro stop. I made a plate ala Dan Checkoway to aid in the countersinking and will order a new microstop tomorrow along with some new cutters. I then went to Dothan and saw Alton D's wings. He's just finished them for the 7A he's building. I had built him some wing stands, which he no longer needs so I picked them up for my use. When I'm done we'll find someone else in the area to give them to. After re-arranging the shop, I think now I'll just build one at a time. I had in my mind that it would be easier to build both together, but after placing the stands in the shop, I'm not so sure. Not having to walk around both may actually make it quicker. Of course if I'm only working on one and make a serious mistake, I've only got parts to replace for one wing instead of both.
