Brief Description:  Worked on Trim tab hinge

Got the hinges riveted on both the elevator and the trim tab. Unless something bad happens while bending the hinge pin properly, I've created a great trim tab on the first try. I had quite a time getting the hinge to line up properly and still get the trailing edges of both the tab and the elevator to line up perfectly, but in the end I got it done. Even the inboard edge of the trim tab lines up perfectly with the elevator. Finished riveting the servo parts together and was in the process of mounting the servo. Either I didn't receive the hardware to hold the servo to the brackets or I can't find it. I went to the aviation department of our local ACE hardware and picked up some # 4 socket head cap screws in stainless steel to mount it with. I'll do that another time. Tomorrow I have to work on my Cherokee. It seems the nose strut won't hold oil or nitrogen anymore and a friend (A&P) and I are going to fix it. At least I'll be able to fly it again. My medical runs out this month and I will also need a bi-annual with the local CFI. It will be a busy month.
