Brief Description:  Studying

I spent an hour going back over previuos work and refreshing in my mind the plans so I can finish the elevators.Little did I realize when I built this steel building, how hot it gets inside it during the day. It's been extremely hot here all summer which is the main reason I haven't worked out here since May 1. I have come out several times to start again only to be drenched in persperation in minutes. I put a thermometer in here late in May and have seen readings well over 100 degrees many, many times.Which brings me to the air-conditioner. Reva and I decided that if we were going to finish this project, we had to work on it more than just the few cool months we have here in Alabama. Also, for me at least, it is a great stress reliever. So we purchased and installed a large window type air-conditioner. I got Jim to come over a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday and help me hoist it up in the end wall where I had prepared a frame work in the wall. What a difference it makes. While it won't cool the building down to the 70's when it's 100 outside, it does make it bearable. It has a timer on it to delay the start of it and I will use that frequently.Hopefully, I'll get to spend some time out here this weekend.
