Clecod the Front Spar doubler to the front spar, final drilled the common holes, dimpled the bottom four holes on the front spar and machine countersunk the bottom four holes in the doubler. Took a bit to get the right countersink depth. Disassembled and deburred the holes.
Deburred all the holes in the front spar and dimpled the front spar flange holes that are common with the skin.
Separated the rudder stops, deburred the edges and removed the left over spurs from cutting the parts. Cleco'd to the top part of the bottom rudder hinge brackets. Took care to cleco correctly and final drilled the common holes with the #30 reamer. Disassembled and deburred the holes.
Marked and drilled holes for the lightening hole wire tie straps in the bottom and mid rib nose webs.. Used #30 reamer to final drille
Drilled two more rivet holes in the VS-1006 and doubler plate. The others were drilled slightly too large and the extra two should provide more stability.
