The new windows arrived from the factory, the material is "Plexiglas XT Resist -65" a relatively flexible but tough acrylic, not polycarbonate. I needed to add some rivet holes as they were not all drilled & I decided to produce spacers to fill the gap between the support channel & skin ahead & behind the windows. The 3.2 x 8mm rivets in this area are not pulled fully in order to prevent denting the very thin (0.016") skin as the VHB tape will compress so some experimenting with a stop for the rivet pliers has, I think given me a starting point for the correct amount of squeeze to apply before removing the rivet stems with a small cut-off wheel. Hopefully I'll start that process tomorrow.
