This morning I was able to de-rivet then alodine the adjustment plates for the rudder cables and re-assemble them with 4mm c/s rivets kindly donated by PGC, thank you. Using some continuous grommet, I lined the holes in ribs 6 & 7 in order to protect the rudder cables in the unlikely event they rub, another idea stolen from PGC, the rudder cables are now installed. PGC paid a visit this afternoon so we took some time & did a trial fit of the luggage compartment, all the pieces seem to fit just fine despite not being properly prepared. Still quite a few hours of work to perform on the rear fuselage but finally, some real progress is being made.
