I managed to jury rig a deflector for the nibbler exhaust then KLH & I were able to cut the rear inspection hole in the bottom skin. The deflector worked well, reducing the shard spray by about 99%. I was then able to assemble the upper stringers after applying primer to the mating surfaces.
