GAM stayed over night & between us we reduced my stock of red wine somewhat, a great night thankyou. The drawings for the inspection holes in the rear fuselage bottom skin arrived within 1 hour of my making the request, great support from the factory. Thank you Armin. GAM did a lot of deburring of skins whilst I procrastinated on how we would cut the holes & did some practice with the nibbler on some scrap sheet. After measuring at least 6 times, we bit the bullet & cut the first hole. The nibbler is, without doubt, the messiest tool I've ever used. It produces countless thousands of tiny, razor sharp shards and throws them all over the place. No bare feet in the workshop from now on despite the 2 hour clean up today. Hopefully I'll get the other hole cut tomorrow after coming up with a mod for the nibbler to reduce the shower of shards. Lots of hours for not a lot of visual progress.
